Weekly Happiness Note April 24, 2025
7 Strategies to Believe in Yourself When That Feels Hard to Do
“Believing in yourself changes the way you see the world.”
Happy Thursday,
When the outside world feels chaotic and uncertain, the greatest shift we can make is to turn inward and reconnect to our own strength. This week’s Happiness Note centers on the powerful act of self-belief, especially in moments when that feels out of reach. If you've been questioning your worth or looking for a path forward through doubt, this note is filled with simple practices and reminders to help you believe in yourself again. Read the note below for a little more hope and light.
In gratitude, ❤ Emily

💛 Remember the Good
Our belief in ourselves becomes a lifeline during the hardest moments. But it’s often in those exact moments we forget just how strong we really are. When you feel lost or unsure, remember this: if you are here, alive in this moment, that is already proof of your worth.
Tip for remembering the good: Be on the lookout for evidence of your awesomeness. It’s there. Train your mind to see it.
🌿 Feel Your Best
When we hydrate, move, and speak to ourselves with kindness, we come back into balance. Feeling good doesn’t mean life is perfect—it means we’re supporting ourselves from the inside out.
Tip to feel your best: Stay hydrated and listen to how you speak to yourself today. Use your words to lift yourself up.
🔄 Reset as Needed
Resetting isn’t about perfection—it’s about checking in with yourself. Ask, “What do I need right now?” and give yourself the care you’d offer someone you love. Rest. Reflect. Then begin again, gently.
Tip for a reset: Rest. Then ask yourself one honest question and answer it with compassion. That’s your reset.

Put it into Practice: Planning for Next Week📝:
Use the framework below to plan your upcoming week: April 28th - May 4th.
Some people like to map out their forthcoming week on Friday to ease into the weekend, knowing they are ready to hit the road running on Monday. Others (like myself) have a Sunday planning ritual. Do what works best for you. Over the years, in supporting many people in their planning and goal-setting, it seems to work best to pick a day of the week that’s easy to stick to so that your weekly planning becomes a habit and ritual.
