Weekly Happiness Note February 13, 2025
How to Turn the Page and Start Fresh When You Feel Stuck
“We may not choose the storms in life, but we have a say in how we weather them.”
Happy Thursday,
I hope this week’s note finds you well. Life doesn’t always go as planned. Some days feel effortless, like smooth sailing, while others feel like we’re stuck in place, waiting for something—anything—to shift. In these moments, it’s easy to feel powerless, as if we’re at the mercy of life’s unpredictability. But here’s the truth: while we may not choose the storms that come our way, we have a say in how we weather them. In this week’s Happiness Note, we’re exploring how to turn the page when we feel stuck—how to remember the good, reconnect with ourselves, and reset when needed. Because no matter where you are right now, a fresh start is always within reach.
This week’s topic and inspiration come from the article: How to Turn the Page and Start Fresh When You Feel Stuck.

Remember the Good
When life feels heavy, the simplest way to shift your perspective is to start with where you are. Gratitude isn’t about pretending everything is perfect—it’s about recognizing the good that already exists.
Tip for remembering the good: Close your eyes and take a deep breath. What are you grateful for right now? Maybe it’s the warmth of your coffee, a kind word from a friend, or simply the fact that you’ve made it this far. Every moment holds something beautiful if we choose to see it.
Feel Your Best
Your happiness doesn’t depend on external circumstances—it begins within you. Self-reflection is a powerful tool for checking in with yourself and realigning with what truly matters. When you take time to connect inward, you reclaim your power.
Tip to feel your best: Nurturing this inner relationship, whether through journaling, walking in nature, or quiet meditation, brings clarity, resilience, and a sense of peace that no outside force can shake.
Reset As Needed
When you feel stuck, remember that you always have the power to turn the page. It’s okay to let go of what’s weighing you down and begin fresh.
Tip for a reset: Ask yourself: What do I want to feel right now? Taking even the smallest step toward that feeling creates momentum. You may not control every challenge life throws your way, but you do control how you move forward. With each shift in perspective, you unlock the freedom to start anew.
