“When you care about how you feel, your feelings become a guide—not a barrier—to the life you want.”
Happy Thursday,
Your feelings aren't here to hold you back—they're here to help you find your way forward. In this week’s Happiness Note, we explore how to use your feelings as a guide so you can shift out of fear, doubt, and resistance and start feeling better, without forcing or fixing anything. It’s a gentle reminder that you don’t have to push through—just tune in.
In gratitude, ❤ Emily
This week’s topic and inspiration come from the article: “How to Move Out of Resistance and Feel Good Now.”
💛 Remember the Good
When we focus on what we don’t want, our resistance builds—and the good becomes harder to see. But even in those moments, the good still exists. It begins with how we feel. If we care more about how we feel than anything else, we can guide ourselves back to what we want and start to move with life instead of against it.
Tip for remembering the good:
Ask yourself: How do I want to feel right now? Let that question guide your next step.
🌿 Feel Your Best
It feels good to feel good. And when we’re overwhelmed by doubt, switching gears is one of the most helpful things we can do. Instead of staying stuck in resistance, we can pause and do something that feels light, joyful, or creative. These small shifts break the cycle of doubt and reconnect us to our truth.
Tip to feel your best:
When in doubt, pause the spiral. Do something that brings joy, even for a few minutes.
🔄 Reset as Needed
Our feelings are powerful guides. Resistance, frustration, and even fear can show us when it’s time to realign with our truth. When we accept our feelings—without judgment—we soften their intensity. This acceptance is where alignment begins. With awareness and intention, we can reset and return to the path of least resistance.
Tip for a reset:
Start the day with three things you’re grateful for. Lean in and feel them. Presence is the beginning of any reset.
