"Let go of the need to do it all, and you just might find you get more done—with less stress and more joy."
Happy Thursday,
We’ve been told that multitasking is the key to productivity, but the truth is, it often leaves us feeling scattered and overwhelmed. What if the secret to getting more done isn’t doing more—but doing less, with intention? This week’s happiness note is about lightening the load, creating simple systems, and making space for what truly matters. Come check it out below.
In gratitude, ❤ Emily
This week’s topic and inspiration come from the article: “Stop Multitasking and Be More Productive than Ever.”

Remember the Good
There’s a certain magic in simplicity. When we let go of the need to juggle everything at once, we create space to appreciate what’s already here. The small moments — a smile from a stranger, the satisfaction of finishing one thing at a time, the calm that comes from knowing what’s next — shine brighter when we ease the mental clutter.
Tip for remembering the good: A question to ponder: What if productivity could feel less like a race and more like a gentle rhythm?
Feel Your Best
Routines and systems aren’t just about getting more done — they’re about making life easier. Whether it’s planning meals, batching tasks, or creating a weekly ritual to map out your schedule, simple habits free up energy for what really matters. The more we simplify, the more we thrive.
Tip to feel your best: What’s one small system you could create this week to lighten your load?
Reset As Needed
When overwhelm creeps in, remember: you don’t have to do it all. Single-task, delegate, or simply step away. Give yourself permission to reset. A little space and a deep breath can shift everything.
Tip for a reset: What would it feel like to approach your to-do list with curiosity instead of pressure?

Planning for Next Week📝:
Use the framework below to plan your upcoming week: March 10th - March 16th.
Some people like to map out their forthcoming week on Friday to ease into the weekend, knowing they are ready to hit the road running on Monday. Others (like myself) have a Sunday planning ritual. Do what works best for you. Over the years, in supporting many people in their planning and goal-setting, it seems to work best to pick a day of the week that’s easy to stick to so that your weekly planning becomes a habit and ritual.
